As we mark mother’s day today May 9, 2021, mothers are being celebrated in all parts of the world. There were a lot of wonderful moments that we saw on social media as some high profile personnel celebrate their mothers.
One of these persons was are very own Vice-President, Dr Bawumia, who tweeted with an attached photo of his mother and wife, the second lady.
He expressed how his mother is so dear to him so as her wife. He also expressed his gratitude to all mothers in the country.
“Happy Mother’s Day to my amazing mum, Hajia Mariama Bawumia; my lovely wife, Hajia Samira and all mothers in Ghana”.

Meanwhile some Ghanaians have reacted following the Veep’s tweet. Some of these people joined the Veep to celebrate his mother while others keot emphasising on the “#FixTheCountry”.
